General event refund and cancellation policy.

The Emancipation Of Me Ticket Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for purchasing a ticket to The Emancipation Of Me . We understand that circumstances can change, and we have outlined our policy for cancellations and refunds below.

General terms

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated: All sales are final for this event, except as explicitly outlined in this policy.

  • Event communication: All communication regarding cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing via email to photoboss602@gmail.com.

  • Ticket transfers: Tickets may be transferred to another individual. The original purchaser must inform us in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the event start date to facilitate this transfer. 

Event cancellation or postponement

  • Cancellation by organizer:

  • In the unlikely event that  is canceled by the organizer, all ticket purchasers will receive a full refund, including any processing fees. We will notify all attendees via email and on the event website.

  • Postponement or rescheduling: If the event is postponed or rescheduled, your original ticket will be honored for the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you must inform us in writing within seven (7) days of the announcement to receive a full refund. 

Attendee-initiated cancellations

  • Standard refund window: A full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued for all cancellation requests received in writing on or before 4 December 2025.

  • No refunds: No refunds will be issued for any cancellations requested less than seven (7) days before the event.

  • No-shows: Refunds will not be granted for no-shows. 

Special circumstances

  • Extenuating circumstances: For cancellations due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., family emergencies, medical reasons) within the non-refundable window, we may offer a credit for a future event or review the request on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required.

  • Weather-related issues: In case of event changes due to severe weather, our liability is limited to refunding the event fee only. We are not responsible for other costs, such as travel or accommodation.
